# Locus Awards Science Fiction and Fantasy Books

The Locus Awards are reader-poll awards associated with Locus Magazine and the Locus Science Fiction Foundation. This site tracks the Science Fiction Novel and Fantasy Novel categories together because the homepage presents Locus as one reference group. That combined view helps readers compare long-running Locus recognition across both major SF/F families while preserving category-level filters in the interactive app. Route copy stays year-neutral so the page does not need annual ceremony updates, and all counts come from the local export.
